A Message from Club Secretary Raquel Lewis
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us on August 5, 2024, for an engaging and enlightening event. We had an incredible lineup of speakers and special guests, making it a memorable evening for all attendees.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Judge Keough, setting a positive tone for the proceedings. Holly Juneau, President of the East Montgomery County Republican Women, led us in a heartfelt prayer, bringing a sense of unity and purpose to the gathering. Republican Women Presidents Leigh Billingsley (North Shore Republican Women) and Charlotte Belin (Liberty Belles Republican Women) then guided us through the pledges, emphasizing the importance of our shared values and commitment to the community.
Judge Keough Accepts Award Presented by Holly Juneau (EMC Republican Women) and Kristin Christ (Director)
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Award of Service from the Montgomery County Republican Community to County Judge Keough, recognizing his outstanding contributions and dedication to our community. We also took the opportunity to acknowledge the many elected officials, party leadership, and candidates who joined us, underscoring their ongoing commitment to public service.
We then announced upcoming Republican club events, inviting everyone to participate and engage with our community efforts. (click here to learn about a Republican Club near you) Judge Keough also acknowledged the tremendous support from our County Commissioners in assisting those affected by Hurricane Beryl, demonstrating the power of collective action and compassion.
We were privileged to hear from Marco Saltarelli, who spoke passionately about border security, addressing the critical issues surrounding the invasion from Haiti in September 2021. He highlighted the challenges posed by the influx of people, many of whom exhibited COVID symptoms, and the ongoing efforts to manage this complex situation.
Jim Napolitano captivated the audience with his insights into the Secret Service, offering a unique glimpse into their crucial role in national security.
A surprise visit from Morgan Luttrell was a delightful addition to the evening, bringing an unexpected highlight to our gathering. His presence energized the audience and set the stage for an engaging Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful dialogue with our speakers.
Thank you, once again, to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a success. We look forward to seeing you at our future events and continuing to work together for a stronger community.

About the Montgomery County Republican Club
The Montgomery County Republican Club is an independent political action committee focused on engaging the Republican community within Montgomery County with educational opportunities and current research. Since our existence in 2020, we have never endorsed one Republican over another and, instead, present fair and accurate information on Republican candidates so that voters can make an informed decision. We often host Town Halls with elected officials, Get Out the Vote Rallies, & Republican Candidate Forums. We also research candidates’ stances on issues & party affiliation in non-partisan races.
